Twin Size Quilt - 67 x 92 - Applique' Scrap Quilt - Vintage 30s Look - Reproduction Feed Sack and Novelty Prints - Handmade Vintage Look

For your consideration, I have a wonderful vintage look twin sized scrap quilt sewn up in reproduction feed sack and novelty fabrics.

The quilt is made in an applique' tulip pattern using reproduction feed sack and novelty prints. Each tulip is made up of a pretty assortment of scrap fabrics, then machine appliqued in a blanket stitch with 100% cotton black thread. The background of each block is a cream cotton with blue circles quilted with a meandering stipple stitch with 100% cotton thread. The sashing between the blocks is a distressed, dusty red muslin, quilted with a wavy serpentine stitch. The backing of the quilt is made up of squares of red and white polka dot cotton with the same distressed red muslin for the sashing. The binding is also the red muslin with mitered corners. The batting used in this quilt is 100% cotton. This quilt measures 67 x 92 inches.
